Accademia Ticinese di Arti Sceniche

Goal

The site of the Accademia Ticinese di Arti Sceniche has three jobs: presenting the dance, theatre and music courses, making the school’s rooms and events known, and leading to enrolment. It is the project where my two trades touch: I also work with the school in music education, and the site describes an offer I know from the inside, including the music production course. Every page ends where the school wants it to end, on the enrolment form.

Audience

People looking for a course for themselves or for their children, in three disciplines: dance, theatre and music, which covers instruments, singing in its variants, theory and music production. People looking for a room for their own activity, from yoga to pilates, or a room to rehearse in. And the audience of the shows and workshops, who find them in the events section without going through the courses.

Design logic

The three disciplines are the three doors of the home page, each with its own page and its own courses; the rooms for rent and the events sit beside them, because the school is also a place. Enrolment is online and reachable from every page, with the timetable and the prices available for download next to the form: choosing the course and enrolling are the same path. The music section is the one I know best, and it is organised by family: instruments, singing, theory, production.
